Membership fees

Our membership fees are currently set at £132.00 per member per annum which covers the following benefits:

  • Member insurance for all Scouting organised activities – insurance provided by Unity (Scout Insurance Services) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Scout Association.
  • Most section activities – if there are additional costs you will be advised.
  • A small contribution towards the running costs of our Group HQ.

You can pay membership fees monthly, i.e. £11.00 per month, for your child(ren)/ward(s) in cash, by cheque or via Standing Order direct to our bank.  You can download our Standing Order Instruction form on our Downloads page.

Financial hardship

It is the Group’s policy, in accordance with Scouting values, that no young person who wishes to be involved in Scouting will be disadvantaged for any reason.  Please contact your Section Leader for further information.
